Unfortunately - no. While we would love them, the venue is also a vintage furniture location during normal hours and want everyone to be able to relax and enjoy the party without worrying about spilled juice (or other beverages) on 1950s couches or the like. If you're worried about this, please talk to us directly as we would love to have you there and hope to see what we can do to get you out!
Chicago in May can be either cold or warm. Expect about 40-50F as a possible, though you can never rule out snow. All the ceremony and activities will be indoor, though there is an outdoor patio for use and additional photos. Dress code: funky, colorful and floral Bring your dancing shoes Weather update: Midwest SPRING has hit, and it's been warm but unpredictable! Current forecast has anything from 50-80F degree highs that week and + /- rain including the day of the ceremony. We recommend doing a final check of the weather a few days before you leave!
"Funky. Floral. Fresh" is the official mantra. We want to allow room for creativity in this, hence the open interpretation! Our thoughts included a mix of colorful, floral, groovy 60-70's vibes or other retro nods, and overall modern interpretations of this. We want y'all to have fun with this and make this a fun day! Whatever you bring, also bring shoes to dance. NEW: By popular demand, click HERE for Pinterest board of examples: https://pin.it/2J8Li9W8O
Ideally, we'd love to see you for all of it, but understand time and/or flights may limit you. Friday will be a big mixer reserved for us at a local brewery for everyone to get to know each other with nice/classy casual dress. This is the big kick off to the weekend Saturday will include ceremony and reception - bring out your best for this as this is the true must attend! Sunday is a very informal brunch - there's no set reservation, but think a major meet up at one of the local giant food halls in the city for people before flights and after the fun night. We understand this may be the hardest one for people to make depending on where they live or how the night before went, and planned accordingly If ever unsure, let us know!
Please respond by April 1st - or we will reach out to you. Please don't be the fool.
Yes, quite a few, but please don't ask us any medical questions. Our only sound advice will pertain to good dancing and good vibes.
