Party Train

If you are traveling from Dublin to Kilkenny on Saturday, August 30th, we will be purchasing a batch of tickets for the 1:15 (13:15) train from Dublin to Kilkenny. Please RSVP so we can get a proper headcount! The train will depart Dublin from Heuston Station, which is right by the Guinness Brewery if you need to kill time. The train will pull into MacDonagh Station, which is a five to ten minute walk from all the hotels. You will enter the Party Train as strangers and leave the Party Train as strangers who now recognize each other's faces. Perhaps you will even learn a name or two.
Welcome Party

Elevated casual attire
The welcome party will include a light meal, but if you would like a more substantial dinner please eat before coming. Also, if you need to come later than 8:00 to accommodate travel plans (or to squeeze in a jet lag nap!) that's totally fine!

Wedding Ceremony

Cocktail Attire
The wedding ceremony will take place at Butler House and Garden…in the garden! Ceremony starts at 3:30 but please arrive early so everything can start on time. We would never subject you to a lengthy ceremony, so if you’re late you might miss it all! Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour elsewhere in the Garden. From Butler House, we will be walking to the reception at Langton’s. It is an eight-minute walk down the hill, past the castle, over the bridge, and up the road. Limited transportation will be provided for those who need it.
Wedding Reception

The dinner will be taking place in Langton’s Garden Restaurant. Because we are doing the cocktail hour at Butler House, we will be rolling right into dinner. The bar will be open during dinner, so feel free to grab a cocktail on the way to your seats. Dancing to follow in the Old Dance Hall, which is next to the Garden Restaurant.
