When should I RSVP by?

Yes! We are so grateful for your presence at our wedding, however if you are looking for gift ideas, we have a registry linked on our website!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving to the ceremony at 3:45 - 4 to ensure you have plenty of time to park and find your seat.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love our friends and family to dress up with us! We kindly ask guests to wear cocktail attire—polished but not black-tie. For men, this includes a suit and tie or dress pants with a blazer; for women, cocktail dresses. Please keep in mind that the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on grass and by the water, so we recommend choosing comfortable, walkable footwear, and no stilettos!!!

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Daily temperatures in Bar Harbor in August range from 65-70 degrees F. The morning and nighttime can be a little chillier, ranging from 55-60 degrees F.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. If you have been invited with a guest, their name will appear when you RSVP and select your meal. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. If needed, we can provide recommendations for a babysitter. Thank you so much for understanding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! If you have a food allergy, please let us know and we will make sure there is a safe option prepared for you to enjoy during the reception!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking at the ceremony and reception location. There will be signage throughout the parking lot.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotel we recommend staying at is The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel, which is where the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be taking place. Therefore, we will not be offering transportation for the wedding.
