Travel & Accommodation

Welcome to Bermuda! Whether its your first time on the island, or you're returning for our special weekend, you are in for a treat - pink-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and plenty of charm (where do you think Katrina picked it up from!). You'll need a current valid passport and will likely have an early morning wakeup call to get to the island - but trust us, it's easier than you might think, and we are hoping it will be worth it.

Flight

L.F. Wade International Airport

The main gateway is L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) in Bermuda. There are direct flights from the U.S. (including New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Miami) via airlines like American, Delta, and JetBlue. Flights also operate from Canada (e.g., Toronto) and from the UK (British Airways). There’s a newer airline, BermudAir, which offers service to Bermuda with a more boutique feel and in-flight perks. **Please bring cash for Taxis to your accommodation, some take credit cards, but cash is easiest. There is an ATM in the airport, but Bermuda accepts US dollars or Bermudian dollars**

Alternative Lodging: Vacation Rentals & Home Sharing

For guests seeking a more private, self-catered stay or larger group space, Bermuda offers a variety of vacation rental and home-sharing options through platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, and local vacation rental providers. What You’ll Find Beachfront homes and cottages: Traditional island residences and modern houses near popular beaches. Condos and apartments: Ideal for couples or small families looking for central or scenic stays. Large group homes: Properties with multiple bedrooms and full kitchens perfect for families or groups traveling together. Unique island spaces: Some listings include ocean views, patios, garden areas, and outdoor amenities like BBQs; many include Wi-Fi and full kitchens. Booking Platforms Guests can explore Bermuda vacation rentals through: Airbnb — a wide range of private homes and island cottages. VRBO — houses, condos, and beachfront cottages with search filters for guest count and amenities. Local vacation rental agencies — many Bermudian homeowners list properties directly, often with flexible check-in arrangements. Guests choosing vacation rentals should consider their preferred location (e.g., close to the wedding venue vs. scenic beaches elsewhere) and amenities (kitchens, parking, accessibility) when booking. Please note that Bermuda does not have traditional car rental companies, so guests staying off-site should take transportation into consideration when booking accommodations - see more details on the FAQ page.
