Kayla is Jessica's sister and is one of the most vivacious humans you will ever meet. She is a compassionate and honest friend, the life of the party, selfless yet bold, and an incredibly talented artist. Jess and Kayla share a love for Game of Thrones, true crime, and heavy pours of wine. Kayla is always down for an adventure, and will make any adventure infinitely more exciting and memorable than it would ordinarily be. Kayla and Jess met when Kayla was born! :) She loves to paint, is fascinated with true crime, and has a new baby son named Lincoln!
Mark Burkhardt-Adamaszek
Best Man
Mark is one of Connor's oldest friends. They met back in grade school and have remained friends through college and Connor's bad jokes. Mark is a chemical engineer and is currently pursuing a law degree. Mark loves a good charcuterie board and nice box of wine. His favorite cheese is muenster. He is also a die-hard fan of Liverpool F.C. Mark recently bought a house (with a pool!) and just got married! Mark is an amazing DM (Dungeons & Dragons!), an incredibly thoughtful friend, and always makes sure his friends and loved ones are taken care of. Just make sure you remind him to set a timer for the salmon!
Jordan Wright

Jordan is Jessica's close friend and is one of the most loving humans you will ever meet. She is incredibly supportive, a fantastic and creative cook, a social butterfly, and has the most amazingly contagious laugh. Jess and Jordan share a love for party planning, binge-watching TV dramas, and making/eating baked goods. Jordan is always down for fun adventures and is exactly the friend you want to do everything with, from planning a Game of Thrones watch party to struggling through Mari Fitness gym guides together. Jordan and Jess met when they were both waitresses at Grizzly Peak Brewing Company! Jordan recently became an RN after graduating! She loves the ocean more than anywhere, has two Chinchillas named Marley and George and a hedgehog named Stella, and soccer is her favorite sport!
Matt Egeler

Connor and Matt met freshman year at U of M while following an impromptu Frisbee match. Matt loves playing soccer, watching hockey, and drinking whiskey. Other hobbies include listening to improv comedy podcasts and angering people over the sandwich status of hot dogs. Matt is extremely generous and fun and will elevate any party from good to amazing, unless that party falls on a U of M football Saturday in which case you will find him in the stands!
Melissa McKillop

Melissa is Jessica's sister and is one of the most independent humans you will ever meet. She is authentic, deeply compassionate, spontaneous in a way we all want to be, and a truly incredible friend. Jess and Melissa share a love for Grey's Anatomy, exploring new places, and cozy afternoons with coffee and a good book. Melissa is the kind of person you want on your team no matter what, and if you're lucky she'll make you the best banana bread and/or guacamole you'll ever have. Melissa and Jess met when Melissa was born! :) She loves fun, adventure, and a good challenge!

Connor and Duane met sophomore year at U of M when they had quite literally every class together that semester. Duane enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, board games, community theater, or anything his friends enjoy! Duane is always down for spontaneous karaoke, is incredibly genuine, and can engage anyone in an intelligent and interesting conversation.

Kelly is Jessica's sister and is one of the most empathetic humans you will ever meet. She is free-spirited, an amazing listener, sassy when she needs to be, and has an inspiring appreciation for uniqueness. Jess and Kelly share a love for sushi, attention to detail, and hot tea. Kelly is someone you can trust with anything, while also being someone you can trust to make anything more fun and special. Kelly and Jess met when Kelly was born! :) Kelly loves spending time outside in nature with her fiance Noah and their dogs Timber and Stormy.
Charlie Pinzone

Connor and Charlie met in the freshman apartments at UM and were housemates throughout college. Charlie works in the auto industry and can usually be found yelling in the garage at broken cars while his friends are out actually enjoying themselves. He likes to golf but is bad at it and loves the company of his mildly dysfunctional college friends including Connor and Jess! Charlie has a quick wit, is lighthearted, hosts the best movie night around, and is an amazing dog dad to his little pup Ace!
Sarah Gillay

Sarah is Jessica's stepsister and is one of the most individualistic humans you will ever meet. She is charmingly nerdy, self-confident, daring, and amazingly creative. Jess and Sarah share a love for spooky stuff, Batman among other superheroes, and everything cats related including cats themselves. Sarah is such a beautiful, unique spirit and Jess is so lucky to have gained her as a sister. Sarah and Jess met when Sarah's dad and Jess's mom started dating! :) She loves playing video games, watching Netflix, and hanging out with her cat Zeke!
John Hogan

John is the eldest Hogan bro and proud of all his siblings. He is loving life in northern Michigan but will always make time to come visit for game nights to remind everyone who the best is (oh... it's usually Connor). John is an incredible dog dad to his pup Rhody, and he gets credit for introducing us to our favorite party game (Cheers to the Governor!). He is easygoing, confident, dedicated to his friends and family, and has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. John is also marrying his long-time girlfriend Libby in June!
Cindy Hogan

Cindy is Connor's sister and is one of the most genuinely fun humans you will ever meet. She is quick-witted, both book and street smart, the life and soul of every party, and a seriously talented volleyball player. Cindy and Jess share a love for late night Mario Party, Reign (a TV show!), and all types of party games. Cindy is the highlight of social gatherings, will beat you at Cards Against Humanity every time, and Jess is so excited to be gaining her as a sister! Cindy and Jess met at Thomas's (one of the Hogan brothers) graduation party! Cindy is an undergrad at Grand Valley State University, has a high tolerance for spicy food (compared to her family), firmly believes that gluten free pretzels are superior to any other pretzel, and her favorite color is periwinkle blue!
Maurice Hogan

Mo is one of Connor's older brothers. He has a strong claim for the reason Connor and Jess are together (#Berts4Life #CoffeeLove), and actually met his wife at the same place Connor and Jess met. Something's in the coffee at Bert's Cafe! He will never say no to brunch or day drinking, and has perfected the Mo-mosa: 98.5% bubbly, 1.5% orange juice. Mo is determined and adventurous, and has actually visited more countries than he has states in the US. He enjoys the shenanigans of all types of games, but flip cup in particular. Be careful challenging him to a match though! You'll bring out the fierce competitor within :)
Kaitlyn Cox

Kaitlyn is Jessica's close friend and is one of the most fearless humans you will ever meet. She is endearingly bold, wildly intelligent, self-confident, and knows exactly how to bring out the best in others. Jess and Kaitlyn share a love for Mexican food (Imperial!!), dancing like no one is watching (especially when others are watching), and super challenging puzzles. Kaitlyn has a positive energy that is so rare, and she fights harder than most for the people she loves and the things she cares about. Kaitlyn and Jess met at Brown City Camp when they were kids. Kaitlyn is an attorney and recently got married to her husband Stephen! They love traveling and raising their pupchild Zoey!

Layla is Jessica's close friend and is one of the most genuine humans you will ever meet. She is optimistic and cheerful, thoughtfully caring, effortlessly fun, and she has a unique way of spotting the beauty in ordinary things. Jess and Layla share a love for homemade craft cocktails, reading, and binge-watching Four Weddings. Layla is a truly incredible friend and is the kind of person that makes life a better place to be. Jessica and Layla met during their freshman year at U of M, thanks to lots of dorm icebreaker activities! Layla is a biology teacher, and is enjoying newlywed life with her husband Joe and their new puppy!

Thomas is Connor's only younger brother! He loves spending his time enjoying the outdoors, bow-hunting, and spending time with friends and family. He's also a Detroit police officer! Thomas is very free-spirited, goofy, a bit of a daredevil, and is a key member of any fun camping trip!

Kolbie is one of the most creative and fun people you will ever meet. She is an extremely talented artist, the best at good conversation, always ready to bring a party to the next level, and an incredible confidant. Jess and Kolbie share a love for bonfires, chambong, crafts, girls nights, and true crime. Kolbie is always down for a fun time, will make every moment more exciting, and can be trusted to have amazing documentary and reality TV show recommendations! Kolbie and Jess met when Kolbie started dating Connor's brother Thomas! Kolbie loves spending time with her dog Tala, collecting crystals, and can instantly be won over with donuts!
