The Grotto has a vast selection of unique beers, and a cozy enclosed patio for enjoying your drinks! We love going here with friends and trying new craft beers!
Kerrytown Market & Shops
Kerrytown has an awesome marketplace with all kinds of shops including some locally owned options. Our favorites are Fustini's Oils and Vinegars, Everyday Wines, and Ann Arbor Spice Merchants. Browsing the shops is one of our favorite after-brunch activities! Zingerman's Deli is also right across the street, and is very well-known for their unique and delicious sandwiches!
The Ravens Club
If you're a fan of whiskey and/or craft cocktails, Raven's Club is an incredible option! We love going there for date night after dinner to try different whiskey flights and enjoy the speakeasy ambiance.
Aventura
If you're looking for a dinner spot, definitely check out Aventura! This is our favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor, and we go there often for date nights. They feature Spanish tapas, authentic paella, and unique cocktails. Our favorite items are the patatas bravas, seafood paella, churros, and sangria tinta.
Avalon Cafe and Kitchen Ann Arbor
If you need an amazing place for brunch, check out Avalon Cafe and Kitchen! Jess actually helped open this restaurant, and promises that the food and service is truly high quality. Make sure to grab a loaded bloody mary, specialty latte, and avocado toast!
Grizzly Peak Brewing Co.
Connor and Jess both worked at Grizzly Peak, and can guarantee you'll have an amazing experience there. Must-haves are the beer flights, cheese curds, steak sandwich, and the salmon blt!
The Last Word
Last Word is an amazing late night stop for wildly creative cocktails! Our favorite is the Flaming Volcano, but make sure you share it with at least one other person!
The State Theatre
The State Theatre is a historical Ann Arbor staple, usually premiering all kinds of movies! Seeing a movie here is a unique, fun twist on a classic movie theater outing.
Literati Bookstore
If you're a book lover like Jess, do not skip Literati! They have amazing local featured books and carefully chosen staff favorites. They also have a coffee shop upstairs with a great tea collection and delicious lattes.
Nick's Original House Of Pancakes
This is where we went for our first date! The finest diner breakfast you could ask for, with wonderful service and incredible breakfast specials.
Zap Zone
We have spent many afternoons here playing laser tag with friends! Highly recommend for something fun and unique.
RoosRoast Liberty
Roos Roast has THE BEST coffee in Ann Arbor. Try their lobster butter love blend and don't forget to grab a bag of coffee beans to take home!
Revel & Roll
We've been going here together since before we even started dating! It has kind of a nightclub feel but with bowling, arcade games, and pitchers of beer.
