Question

Where are good places to stay?

Answer

Our venue is in downtown Wilmington in the Brooklyn Arts District. Anything "riverfront" or in the downtown area should be close. We have a block reserved at the Hotel Ballast, and if it fills up, just let us know and we can ask to add more rooms. If you are looking to stay beachfront, we love Kure Beach and Fort Fisher, and I have added a couple nice Wrightsville Beach hotels as well. There are also several Air BnBs and other apartment style rentals as well! If you have any questions about a neighborhood or need additional recommendations, don't hesitate to reach out!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids but we are having an adults only ceremony and reception! We will be providing babysitting on site (in Mama Cat's Cottage behind the venue) and parents are welcome to visit their kids as often as they would like! We will have multiple sitters and provide a variety of kid-friendly activities and snacks. We will be reaching out for any allergies or preferences.

Can I bring a date?

If you have a plus one included on your RSVP, then yes, feel free to bring someone!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot at a church near by, but Uber and Lyft are also accessible in the area.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our goal is to be as accommodating as possible around food preferences and restrictions. Questions about this will be included on your RSVP card!

Are you accepting cash or gift cards at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will have a place to accept/store cash and gift cards at the wedding. If you are wondering about gift card preferences, some places we frequent are Aldi, Harris Teeter, Chickfila, Starbucks, Petsmart, Target, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon,
