Hotel Privilege Aluxes Isla Mujeres

We have a room block at this hotel which offers multiple room types which include breakfast with the base rate or you can add the optional all inclusive plan. You will need to provide your preferred dates and choose your desired room and meal plan (all inclusive or base rate with breakfast). Please note the Group Rate requires a minimum stay of 4 nights to be applicable. If you are staying 3 nights or less, do not enter the code or it will show no rooms available with that rate. We recommend staying Saturday 4/26 through Wednesday 4/30 for 4 nights total or you can come as late as Sunday and leave as early as Tuesday, however long works best for you. Please book your rooms by February 27, 2025 when the rate expires, but we also recommend booking as soon as possible so you can start booking flights in advance as well to get the best rates. Airport Transfer and Ferry Ticket

We made arrangements with CARM Transportation for our guests to book their private airport transfer shuttles and ferry tickets. Shuttle prices listed on their site are per shuttle, not per person, and the round trip ferry tickets can be added for $29 per person at checkout (second page). Our promo code is our wedding date: 42825 (no spaces) More info: You must enter the promo code on the first page of booking. Your location will auto-fill as: Gran Puerto Juarez Ultramar Ferry Dock Promo codes are not valid for: phone or email reservations, non-airport transfers, or multi-flight arrivals if you want to share a shuttle with people arriving on different flights. Guests may not book airport arrivals online on the website if people are not arriving on the same exact flight number and want to share a van. You must email them if this is the case. We recommend booking as soon as you have your flights, to avoid possible Sold Out dates. Things to know about booking for Isla Mujeres: 1- Do not book a flight that lands to the Cancun Airport after 8:15 PM (the last ferry to the island is at 11:00 PM) 2- Do not book a flight that departs the Cancun airport before 10:00 AM. (The first ferry from the island in the morning is 6:00 AM, with a 6:20 AM pick up, you will arrive at the airport by approximately 7:30 AM.) Transportation on the island is not included as private transportation companies are not allowed to operate on Isla Mujeres. If you require a taxi to your hotel on arrival, the taxi stand is to the left of the ferry terminal. Your hotel departure confirmation voucher will tell you what time you must board the ferry leaving Isla Mujeres and what time the shuttle will be picking you up at the Gran Puerto Juarez Ultramar Ferry Dock in Cancun.

Travel Tip: Pesos!

The prices listed for food and other items/goods/services on the island are usually listed in pesos, so don’t be alarmed if you are looking up menus and see things listed for hundreds more than you are used to - just divide the listed price by about 20 to get around what the price would be in USD. The actual cost will depend on the daily exchange rate that day. We also recommend taking out some pesos from your local bank in advance of traveling to have on hand on the island for purchases you plan to make without a card such as souvenirs, tips, etc. Most restaurants in our experience will accept cards but having some pesos on hand is helpful.
