Great Northern Catskills of Greene County
For all outdoor activities go to the Great Northern Catskills website for an exhaustive listing of everything to do in the area. Hunter Mountain and Windham are a 30min drive from Coxsackie with some of the best hiking, mountain biking, and zip-lines in the Catskills. For a closer hike go to Four Mile Point Preserve, the hike is a short, kid-friendly walk near the river. A longer walk continues on along 4 Mile Point Road as it winds beside the river and through Vosburg Swamp, a protected wildlife management area. Hannacroix Creek Preserve features 4 main trails taking you along the creek and through native woodlands. Irving Trail takes you down to the New Baltimore swimming hole. Willows at Brandow Point is a hike through expansive wildflower fields and then down through forested land until you reach the river. If you like chasing waterfalls a visit to the Kaaterskill Falls is a must, closely followed by the nearby North-South Lake.

If you’re interested in historic places don’t miss out on a tour through the Broncks House and Museum. It’s in walking distance from our venue (Windrift Hall) and one of the oldest houses in America.
