FAQs

The Wedding Website of Anna Diffley and Conner Elliott
Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have hotel blocks at both the Holiday Inn Express and the Spark by Hilton, both in West Coxsackie, NY. Be sure to book before July 10 to get the discounted rate (but we recommend to book as soon as you have confirmed you can come!) If you choose to stay in an AirBnb, we recommend staying either in Coxsackie or in Athens. More details on the Travel page!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, we will have buses picking up guests from 3 different locations: The Holiday Inn West Coxsackie, NY The Spark by Hilton West Coxsackie, NY The Stewart House in Athens, NY Everyone will be bussed to and from Windrift Hall from one of the above pickup points. Unless you have previously coordinated with us, there is no parking available on site. Please plan to either park at one of the above destinations to jump on the bus, or plan to stay at one of the hotels. If you are not staying in any of the above locations, you can park your vehicle at the Spark Hilton or Holiday Inn and utilize the shuttles. There will also be transportation from Windrift Hall to the after party at Fire Candy Catering which is only a 5 minute drive away.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Ladies: Please wear formal dresses! Floor length preferred, colors encouraged :) The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will take place on grass, so we recommend block heels, flats, or formal sandals over stilettos. Gents: Suits! Ties are optional and dress shoes or loafers are preferred. Since it will be late July, breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, lightweight wool, and silk blends will keep you cool and fab all night long.

Question

Will there be any dietary options during the reception?

Answer

Since Anna is a gluten-free girly, there are going to be plenty of options to accommodate fellow Celiacs. Dinner will be family style and there will be vegetarian options as well.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We've worked hard to create an intimate celebration, so only the guests listed on your invitation are invited! If your invitation includes a guest's name, then yes - we'd love for them to join :)
