We're getting married!

Phil and Colter first met in 2011 through mutual friends, Kevin and Sydney. A playful night out sparked their first kiss, but it would be twelve years before their lips touched again. Over the years, they stayed loosely connected through mutual friends, social media, and the occasional volleyball league invite—Phil’s not-so-subtle way of staying close. For years, Phil kept his “heart eyes” on Colter—sliding into her DMs with “hey chica” which she found annoying, but secretly loved being admired. Life took them in different directions, but they always stayed in touch. As fate would have it, Colter moved back to Austin, and the two found themselves spending more time together. What began as friendship slowly grew into something deeper. One night in Austin, while they were hanging out with the Pauley's, something shifted. Their easy conversations turned deeper, and Colter began to see Phil in a new light. A volleyball league and some soul-searching later, Colter asked Phil out on their first date. Fast forward to being neighbors, bike rides to Barton Springs, and a lot of daily hangouts. By Phil’s 38th birthday, their connection was undeniable. A night of laughter, hand-holding, and one sweet kiss marked the beginning of their forever.
