Farmer's Market
The opening weekend of the Downtown Farmer's Market is the weekend of our Wedding! We are ecstatic our guests will have the chance to explore the market, just down the street from our venue! When we lived in Des Moines, this was one of our favorite Saturday morning activities to enjoy with friends and family!
Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden
A fun, indoor, activity great for anyone to explore. The gardens were an option we considered for our wedding, and are a highlight in the Des Moines area!

Delicious, locally sourced meals, especially breakfast, frequented by Cassie and her coworkers after long shifts! Their Honey Bee Latte was an inspiration for Spencer to step up his coffee making game as a treat for Cassie in their own apartment!
St. Kilda Cafe & Bakery
A taste of Australia in Des Moines, IA! Get some brekkie to commemorate Cassie's time in Australia, when Spencer missed her so much, they facetimed daily despite only being in the friend zone. After COVID-19 ended Cassie's time abroad, they continued to talk daily leading to the beginning of the relationship you see today!
Hessen Haus
A frequented location of Spencer and Cassie to enjoy brats, schnitzel, and of course, a bier! A common location to find the Collison's and the Brown's bonding over German heritage and the influence it has had in their lives and will continue to have in both Spencer's and Cassie's life together.
