FAQs

If you have any questions outside of the ones listed here, please do not hesitate to contact Colin or Deija via their cells.
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Guests may choose to wear cocktail dresses, maxi and sundresses on the dressier side, suit (with out without tie), or a sports coat. If it's a hot day, feel free to skip the jacket!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place completely outside on the land in the back of the house. In the event of rain, there are multiple tents that will protect the party adequately.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes, parking is free. This is a house that has driveway space as well as parking along the land that everyone is invited to use.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! However, they are the only group of people at the party who will be unvaccinated. It is up to your discretion whether to bring them or not. We ask that all vaccinated adults oblige by the 6ft of distance rule when it comes to the kids!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited to invited individuals only in order remain as safe as can be during this ceremony. It is important to us that we know (and trust) each guest attending. We thank you in advance for your understanding!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Because a majority of guests expressed that they would be returning home after the event, we did not have the required amount of rooms to set up a block. However, if you review the travel page, we do have nearby hotels listed for your convenience.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is July 9th, 2021. We ask that you please RSVP via the "RSVP" tab on this website!

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? Will there be any special diet options?

Answer

Yes, to both! We will have a buffet-styled dinner where food options were chosen keeping special diet options (i.e. vegetarian, vegan, etc.) in mind.

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Seeing as there is not a block of hotels, and guests may choose to stay in various hotels, we will not be having a shuttle between the two places. However, we will be more than happy to help you get an Uber or Lyft!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

As long as you are keeping the photographer's angle in mind, please take as many pictures and videos as you like! In fact, we encourage you to use the hashtag #wrightforeachother when posting on social media so that we may find all of the pictures when clicking into the hashtag!

Question

What COVID safety regulations will be in place?

Answer

1) The list of guests has been converted from 150 to less than 50 people 2) All guests at the event have been fully vaccinated 3) The entire ceremony and reception will be fully outside 4) The ceremony seating will be spaced out accordingly. 5) All guests will be seated with other guests they see more regularly. 6) The food will be buffet styled to ensure only you handle your own food. 7) Sanitizers will be posted by the food tables as well as by the guestbook area. 8) We ask that all guests respect the space of other guests. While 6-feet of area is no longer a forced regulation, we ask that you please be considerate of everyone's space. Many of us are still getting used to the post-Covid world :)

Question

Are masks required?

Answer

As of right now, the CDC has said that it is completely safe for vaccinated individuals to be gathered in an outdoor space without masks. That being said, since this is a fully vaccinated party, please know that you are not required to wear a mask! In fact, we're sure that pictures where we can actually *see* your smile will be a lovely change of pace! However, that is not to say we are mandating that you do not wear a mask. If you personally feel unsafe without a mask, please feel free to break out your fanciest face covering. Our only wish is for everyone to feel comfortable with where they are :) **This regulation is subject to change based on future CDC guidelines closer to the wedding. Check back in early August for more information.
