We ask that you please RSVP by Monday, April 6th by clicking on the RSVP link above.
We ask that you please only bring a date if they are noted on your invitation. Additionally, we have chosen for our reception on Saturday, May 9th to be an adults only occasion. Kids may join our welcome event on Friday, May 8th and our breakfast on Sunday, May 10th. If you'd like a recommendation for a babysitter in the area, let us know!
There are plenty of free and paid parking options available. Follow this link for more information about parking near the Downtown Mall: https://charlottesville.org/239/Parking-Information
Wear whatever makes you feel festive and fun! Camp Holiday Trails is a summer camp, so we're not planning to be overly formal. Think garden party attire (e.g. tea-length cocktail dresses, floral maxi dresses, slacks with a button down). The reception will be held in an outdoor, covered pavilion. Please note that the venue has gravel roads, hills and lots of grass. We recommend choosing your footwear accordingly.
There is ample parking at Camp Holiday Trails if you'd like to drive yourself. Ubers/Lyfts are also plentiful and easy to get, as we're only a few miles from UVA and downtown Charlottesville. Most parking is ~half a mile from the Pavilion, so we will have golf carts to shuttle people to and from their cars or Ubers/Lyfts. We will have a limited number of accessible parking spots closer to the reception space. Please let us know if you need one of those. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:00pm and the Bride & Groom will be arriving around 5:30pm. Please feel free to arrive anytime between 4:45-5:15pm.
We will have light hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour. Dinner will be buffet style with BBQ, sides and dessert from BBQ Exchange. Please let us know your dietary restrictions in your RSVP. If anything changes after you RSVP, please text or email us!
We will have an open bar with wine, beer, and tequila. We will have nonalcoholic options as well.
Camp Holiday Trails creates a community that empowers children and teens with medical needs to thrive. Camp Holiday Trails (CHT) is a year-round nonprofit camp in a natural setting at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central VA. CHT was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1973 and, since that time, has provided over 10,000 kids with medical needs the opportunity to experience a positive camp experience. Our Campers, and their siblings, aged 6-17, are welcomed from throughout the United States, with the majority coming from the Mid-Atlantic region. You can learn more about them on their website here: https://campholidaytrails.org/
