Outdoor Rock Climbing Night

3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Wear something comfortable/sporty for climbing. Make sure you have good shoes for the approach to the crag, which involves a moderately steep scramble.

Cole and Ty will be hosting a climbing event. We have access to extra harnesses, shoes (somewhat limited for sizes), helmets, ropes, sport leads, belay equipment, and chalk bags, you just need to show up! No experience necessary. Routes range from 5.7 to 5.10, all top rope climbing. Please RSVP so we have an idea of numbers. Meet us at the trailhead and we'll bring you over! https://www.mountainproject.com/area/109083030/rock-gardens

Yukon River Canoe Float

12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Wear something comfortable/sporty and be ready for all kinds of weather.

Our qualified friends, David and Vivienne, will be facilitating a canoe float down the Yukon River. Paddling from a canoe rental location (Kanoe people) in Downtown Whitehorse to the Takhini River Bridge, an approximate duration of 3 hours. This is a really chill float - there are no rapids or technical maneuvering required, but the Yukon River is still very fast and very cold. This is for all levels however some prior experience is recommended. We will be organizing the canoe rental and shuttle back to the start point downtown. Please RSVP so we can organize boats - there will be a small fee divided evenly between attendees (ie: ~50$). Bring a packed lunch and BYOB.

Pickleball Round Robin

12:00 am - 12:00 am

Your best pickleball outfit and indoor shoes!

Manon will be organizing a Pickleball Round Robin. Paddles can be rented at the facilities. Time will be confirmed closer to the date. Please RSVP so we can make sure we book enough courts for everyone. All levels are welcome! The future bride and groom will unfortunately not be there.

Disc Golf Doubles Tournament

2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Louis and Emilie will be organizing a random selection doubles disc golf tournament at the Golden Horn Disc Golf Course. This is an 18-hole, short beginner-friendly course suitable for all skill levels. Come meet some other wedding guests and throw a disc at a tree. Discs will be provided or bring your own and take advantage of the numerous other courses in the Whitehorse area (most disc golf courses per capita of any province or territory!). BYOB. There will be prizes! Please RSVP so we have an idea of numbers.

Wedding

Sat, Aug 15, 2026, 2:00 pm - Sun, Aug 16, 2026, 12:00 am

Wear whatever you're comfortable in! Suits, dresses, plaid, blue jeans, or whatever you want. The bride and groom will be in a suit and dress for the ceremony, and less formal attire after.

The wedding will be located at our property, Pondside Meadows! The wedding ceremony will take place on a small escarpment a short walk away on well-developed trails (but with a fairly steep, 20m section to get to the plateau), so make sure to bring functional footwear. The dinner and reception will be on our property, with the afterparty taking place in our barn. We know the Yukon is far away for most, so we kindly request no gifts. We will have an optional by-donation cash bar, with any donations going directly towards the cost of the wedding (and maybe building a sauna). Full schedule to be updated soon, so keep an eye on this page!

Post-Wedding Brunch

Roll in for drop-in brunch at LA CASA del Manon and Louis Bouchard. There will be crepes, coffee and other tasty foods (they are still figuring it out). Come cure your hangover and socialize one last time.
