June 21st, 2016: Summer Solstice, Kluane Lake Research Station. Cole was working as a research assistant, and Alex was working for Kluane National Park and Reserve (KNPR). We met skipping stones at the Summer Solstice party, and both saw potential in each other as we discussed the political climates of the Dune universe. Cole was hired (by Alex) in 2017 to work for KNPR, and things took off "at the end of Cole's contract" with the Park. Since then we have been together over 9 years and decided to finally lock it in before we get cold feet.
