Flight
Montrose Regional Airport
Just 20 minutes from the venue, the Montrose Regional Airport is the closest airport. Guests can also fly into the Grand Junction Regional Airport, which is a 1 and 1/2 hour drive from the venue. Other options are the Salt Lake City (SLC) or Denver (DIA) Airports, which are equidistant from the venue, and typically have cheaper flight options as they are larger airports. DIA and SLC are about a 5 and 1/2 hour drive from venue.

There are tons of rental car agencies to choose from at the airport. Find a list of available agencies on the website linked below. Please ensure you have a designated driver if you choose to drive yourself to the welcome party and/or wedding and plan on drinking alcohol. We need you safe!

Transportation Services
We are not providing a shuttle to and from the welcome party or wedding. However, there are several transportation services you can use if you don't want to drive yourself. Click "view" to find a list of those services. Sunshine Rides is one of the options on that page and is recommended by the hotel we have a block at. They offer 24/7 service. Please note that Uber and Lyft services are limited in this area. We recommend you reserve rides with either company ahead of time to ensure availability.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Montrose
This hotel is nine minutes from the welcome party venue and 21 minutes from the wedding venue. We reserved a block here that you can access by using the discount code below. To book, call the hotel at 970-230-3777 and tell them the discount code and that you are staying for the Klaiber/Busch wedding. If you book online, even if you enter the code, you will not get the best rate.

We suggested the Fairfield in Montrose since it's close to the airport and welcome party, but there's also the option of staying in Ridgway, which is roughly the same distance (maybe 5 minutes farther) from the wedding venue. Here’s a quick comparison of the two towns to help you decide where to stay: Montrose Proximity: Close to the airport, welcome party, and general amenities. Vibe: Located in the high desert, not the mountains. Montrose is more of a local community—it's more of a place where people live rather than a "destination". Recommended Accommodations: -Fairfield Inn (recommended hotel) -Hampton Inn (right next to the airport) -The Rathbone Hotel (a funky, cool boutique hotel in the heart of town) -Airbnb and Vrbo Ridgway Proximity: Farther from the airport, but situated at the base of the stunning San Juan Mountains. It’s a great option if you're planning to extend your trip to Ouray or Telluride. Vibe: Ridgway is a charming mountain town with a more “destination” feel.
