Things To Do

We are so excited you are for our wedding! We added some recommendations of our favorite things to do in the area for your stay. Charleston is a beautiful city with a lot of rich history and amazing food!

The Battery

Charleston, SC 29401

The Battery is a landmark defensive seawall and promenade in Charleston, South Carolina. Named for a pre-Civil War coastal defense artillery battery originally built by the British at the site, it stretches along the lower shores of the Charleston peninsula, bordered by the Ashley and Cooper Rivers, which meet here to form Charleston Harbor.

Angel Oak Tree

3688 Angel Oak Road, Johns Island, SC 29455

The Angel Oak is thought to be one of the oldest living things east of the Mississippi River. Acorns from the Angel Oak have grown to produce authentic direct-offspring trees. Live oaks generally grow out and not up, but the Angel Oak has grown both ways, standing 65 feet high and with a canopy providing 17,000 square feet of shade.

KISS Cafe

1802 Crowne Commons Way, Johns Island, SC 29455

We go here almost every week - our favorite breakfast/brunch spot!

Shem Creek

SC 29464

Shem Creek is lined with places to eat and drink, offering award-winning coastal cuisines combined with stunning waterfront views. Perfect place for visiting guests to get a comprehensive Charleston feel!

The Natural

3297 Maybank Highway, Johns Island, SC 29455

Our favorite casual bar/restaurant on the island! They have AMAZING cheesesteaks and great service!

Estuary Beans & Barley

3538 Meek's Farm Road, Johns Island, SC 29455

Coffee shop by day - brewery by night, the Estuary has great coffee, adult beverages, & a pizza truck with indoor/outdoor seating!

For all the days along the way
