What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail attire. Women are encouraged to wear nicer dresses (think garden party)! The wedding will be partially outside - with a beach area for cocktail hour if interested, so keep that in mind when selecting shoes. For men, opt for a suit, or blazer and slacks. White is reserved for the bride and the bridesmaids will be wearing green.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. We kindly ask that you are seated by 4:45pm at the latest to avoid guests arriving during the ceremony. Late guests will be asked to wait at the entrance until the ceremony has concluded.

What should I expect after the ceremony?
Answer
Directly after the ceremony, the immediate family of the bride and groom will be taking pictures for approximately 30-45 minutes. The ceremony will be 5:00pm-5:30pm, with cocktail hour beginning immediately after. We invite you to enjoy our full bar, hors d'oeuvres , and explore the beautiful property. The bride and groom will be back after pictures to get the party started!

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?
Answer
Transportation is not provided so we suggest you make accomations in advanced. Ubers and Lyfts can be difficult with bigger parties so we suggest having a designated driver to ensure everyone gets home safely!

What is the history of your venue?
Answer
Hart Meadows Ranch has all of the beautiful details someone would look for in a wedding venue. The owners have a passion for European history, which you will see throughout the property. Make sure to take notice of the beautiful door you see throughout - all hundreds of years old and sourced from different European countries. You will be enchanted with the fountains, gardens, Mongolian Yurt, Oak Reception Hall, Beach, Island, Rain Curtain water feature, Secret Garden and Barn Doors and Gaming Areas. A New Charleston Event Venue Done Perfectly. They even have created a bathroom sink from an old Cypress tree that dates back to before Christ was born and took almost 10 years to dry after they pulled it out of a river.

How long will the reception be?
Answer
Our cocktail hour will start at 5:30pm and last for a full hour. We will have a full service bar with beer, wine, & cocktails and hour d'oeuvres will be passed around at this time. The reception will start at 6:30pm and last until 9:30pm, with music, southern inspired cuisine, and more!
