Cody and Emma met at Max Fitness while attending Clemson University. After months of crossing paths, Cody finally struck up a conversation, and after some time, asked for her number. Though Emma was about to graduate and move, they stayed in touch and eventually had dinner at Walk-On’s. That night, they clicked and became inseparable. The night before Emma moved, Cody took her to Rick Erwin’s and asked her to be his girlfriend, even though they’d soon be five hours apart. Over the next year, they made weekly visits to see each other. In April 2024, Emma moved to Charleston, and not long after, Cody proposed to her in Rockville, SC.
