Veronika Ban

Bridesmaid

Amber & Veronika are going on 13 years of knowing each other after meeting on their club volleyball team, freshman year of high school. Despite Amber leaving for Boston and Veron remaining in California for school and her volleyball coaching, they remained close. Eventually, Veronika transferred to Central Connecticut State University & once again they were within arms reach of each other, this time on the East Coast. After college, the two made time for each other whenever possible, reunitingall over the country and creating lifelong memories. Together, they've dominated on the court, taken many a road trip, & shared secrets they'll take to their grave. Today, they are thrilled to be sharing the West Coast together once again.

Ed McDonald

Best Man

Ed & Tim met in college during lacrosse tryouts Tim’s freshman year, immediately recognizing each other’s over-the-top work ethic. Though Tim usually finished just behind Ed in sprints every practice, they both were focused on being ahead. The two became roommates & co-workers at the same bar in South Boston, where they shared drinks, stories & listened to the secrets of the old haunt’s regulars. The two enjoyed playing & making music, & encouraging each others' performances at open mics. Ed always made time to see Tim returning home, or wherever he was taken by the Navy. Their deep trust and a mutual selfless understanding is what makes this friendship special. Despite great distances apart, their tribulations, experiences, & growth, have ensured that they will always remain close.

Stephanie Soliz

Bridesmaid

Stephanie & Amber met in their 8th grade science class, & have been making trouble ever since. After surviving the cranky Mrs. Wholer & bonding over catty teenage drama, they quickly became best friends. After all they've been through, whether it be college, traveling the world, failed relationships, occasional tears, but many more laughs, they are sill each other’s go-to friend. In any situation, they’ve always been there for each other to provide endless encouragement, a shoulder to cry on, or even raucous applause. Stephanie is currently living in Madrid, but no amount of distance, oceans, or time zones can keep them apart.

Connor Bagby

Groomsman

Tim and Connor both met before they can even remember in Marshfield. Inseparable from the start they did everything together from sports, to street sharks, to pretty pretty princess. Connor knew at a young age Tim was destined to fly, only after watching Top Gun 737 times. Growing up, Connorhas watched Tim set goals for himself, that not only has he achieved, but exceled at. The maturity of Tim and Amber’s relationship was shocking to Connor from the start. While he was eating hot dogs cut up in mac and cheese, drinking Admiral Nelsons with sixty-nine cent soda, Tim and Amberwere coming back with organic chicken, asparagus and $30 bottles of wine. Connor cannot wait to see his oldest friend marry the girl of his dreams, and for the outrageous fun of the celebration. Cheers Tim and Amber!

Holly Mokracek

Bridesmaid

Holly & Amber met in Pensacola, Florida, & instantly bonded over their mutual love for non-flight school conversation topics & similar lack of enthusiasm for typical military wife duties. Tim & Amber have always been a few months behind Holly & Josh, also a P-8 pilot, to each of their new duty stations, stretching from the beaches of Florida to the mountains of Washington. Tim & Amber were the first to meet their second daughter, Austen; & while Josh was away on deployment, Amber was by Holly’s side in the delivery room for their third baby, Chick. Being in the military, relatives aren’t always nearby; but with friends like Tim & Amber, family has never been closer.

Robert Currie

Groomsman

Tim & Bob first met in Pensacola in the fall of 2016 at the start of their Naval Aviation training. Finding commonalities in their drive for success, their washed-up athletic careers, & mutual affinities for male fashion & good music, Tim & Bob quickly became good buddies. Fortunately for all parties involved, Amber tolerated Bob’s quirks, & the three of them (five of them, to include Stevie & Boone) formed a motley crew. Already good friends from the outset, their bond deepened through beach chill sessions, weekend trips, & unexpected sleepovers. Tim, Bob, & Amber were separated at different points during flight training, but were ultimately reconnected on Whidbey Island. These days you can find Bob practicing yoga, watching YouTube music videos, & riding his motorcycle.

Corrine Blaine

Bridesmaid

Corrine & Amber have been friends since their freshman year of high school & were commonly referred to as "Frick and Frack,” never one without the other. Both on & off the court, they have always been in sync. Amber was there to witness the beginning of Corrine’s relationship with her now-husband Taylor their senior year of high school; while Corrine was there to welcome Tim to California and into Amber’s family. To Amber and Corrines delight, their significant others quickly hit it off, allowing a lifelong friendship to blossom between the two couples. Corrine was lucky enough to have Amber as a bridesmaid, and can’t wait to be alongside her once again, this time for her wedding day.

Collin Bolton

Groomsman

After completing their OCS Program, Tim & Collin forged a friendship during some frustrating times with high hopes of a shot at Naval Aviation. After many nights of Tim hypnotizing the crowds with his guitar at Buskers, & Collin teaching Tim to catch Porgies off the rocks, they relocated to Pensacola for flight school. From Pensacola, they relocated to the oasis of southern Texas, to be welcomed by mosquitos the size of hawks, tarantulas, & rattlesnakes. Tim & Amber eventually moved on to Jacksonville, while Collin finished flight school in Kingsville. Despite the Navy distancing their bromance, fate intervened & assigned them both to beautiful Whidbey Island. Collin currently flies the EA-18G Growler & is raising his daughter Adelyn with his lovely wife Allix.

Mirielle Juarez

Bridesmaid

Mirielle & Amber's friendship started on the Women's volleyball team while attending UMass Boston. Through long crazy bus rides, pool workouts in the dead of winter, & winning Regionals; they have truly cried, cheered, and laughed side by side. Mirielle has always been there as one of the most bright & positive lights in Amber's life. Their mutual love of speaking the truth, especially in times of hardship, is what brought them together and has been the most contributing factor to their continued friendship.

Michael Durocher

Groomsman

Freshman Mikey met Tim, a seasoned sophomore, in the Fall of 2012. They began as teammates but eventually became brothers. Mikey was intimidated by Tim's coolness, his collegiate wonderland of an apartment, & his ability to captivate an entire party & steal every heart with a single strum of his guitar. "I've seen grown men cry, women swoon & doves fly all while Milch strummed.” Mikey embraced the old tradition of “If you can't beat ‘em, join ‘em” & lay prostrate at Milchs' feet begging to learn, a decision he would never regret. Amber would be jealous of their intimate post-practice-heartfelt-sweaty-sauna conversations, that are known to truly bring teammates together. Mikey can't wait to be beside Tim as he says “I do,” & to celebrate he and Amber's new life together. Party on Wayne.
