Tim & Amber's adventure started at the University of Massachusetts-Boston with a cheesy pick up line, by freshman Tim to sophomore Amber, that did not land. After a few years, watching from a far, he finally took his shot & wooed her with his flawless yoga moves (thanks to P90x yoga that he only watched once). Their relationship began the following Memorial Day after he so sweetly brought her home to meet his family. In the first couple years, they made it through the trials & tribulations of long distance & Tim’s grueling journey through OCS before Amber made the long trek to the panhandle to meet Tim where he was stationed for primary naval flight training. It was there they made life lasting friends & where they (questionably) decided to get their furry companions, Stevie & Boone. Their next chapter began in Corpus Christi where they battled intense heat & humidity while solidifying their friend group, building more upon it, & were FINALLY able to bring their two families together for a terrific Thanksgiving holiday. Their Corpus stay was wrapped up in a nice bow by Tim’s completion of advanced training to procure his esteemed wings of gold. After relocating to Jacksonville, a summer spent beachside, & traveling the lower east coast, they returned to Boston for Labor Day where Tim popped the question. It was a day spent revisiting old friends & hangouts in the city that prompted their relationship & provided the perfect atmosphere for him to get down on one knee. That October, it was time for the couple to relocate from one corner of the country to another. Their second time driving cross country, with a dog in each car & walkie talkies in hand, they made their way west to Whidbey Island to be reunited with their friends turned family who, by the grace of God, all made it to NAS Whidbey. Here they established roots as homeowners in Coupeville, WA. They are both excited to share their new home with their friends & family, & look forward to the journey to come.
