Flight
We recommend flying into Liberia International Airport. From there, you'll have a few options to travel into Nosara. 1. If you plan on extending your trip to stay a bit longer, we highly recommend renting a car to drive into Nosara and explore the surrounding areas. The drive is about 2.5 hours from Liberia and is paved most of the way (with the exception of the last 45 minutes being dirt roads). February is well into Costa Rica's dry season, so no need to worry about river roads, but we still recommend renting a 4x4. We've done this drive many times, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us for tips or questions. 2. There are plenty of shuttles that will transport you from Liberia to Nosara for $50/pp. If you do not have a car, we highly recommend staying in Playa Guiones due to it's walkability. There are also rental car options directly in Nosara if you do not want to endure the 2.5 hour drive yourself. 3. You can charter a flight from Liberia directly into Nosara. You will have to book these flights separately.
