When should I show up?

Answer

We would love for you to join us for as much of the weekend as possible. We will arrive to set-up on Thursday morning (it will be mostly work, but please help us!) and have a bonfire Thursday night for those who pitch in. Once Friday morning hits, please spend as much time as possible at the Ranch, the reason we are doing a wedding here is for y'all, to meet all those special people in our lives and to get to spend more time with everyone! Meals will be served all weekend.

What is the weather like?

Answer

*Colorado weather is unpredictable. One day it will be 80 and sunny, the next it may be snowing. The average temperature in mid-September in this part of the state is 72F during the day and 35F at night. Bring layers!

What is the altitude in Westcliffe?

Answer

*Westcliffe is located at 8,000 ft above sea level. *When you first get here you'll likely feel the increase in altitude when you walk up stairs. Just go a bit slower and enjoy the scenery! You will slowly acclimate. *Colorado has a very dry climate. With the altitude and climate, its super important to drink lots of water! We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle with you. *Alcohol affects you differently (aka faster) at altitude. Make sure you drink some water and watch those sneaky Colorado beers which are typically higher is alcohol.

Will there be meals for those staying on site?

Answer

In addition to the welcome dinner, on Friday, reception on Satruday, and farewell bunch on Sunday, we are planning to serve breakfast & dinner each day, with a light lunch/snacks at midday in the dining hall. There will also be a late night snack after the reception to keep you feeling good on the dance floor & after the party! If you have any favorite beverages or snacks, feel free to bring them with you as well.
