It all began at West Virginia University, at a party hosted by Kailey’s bridesmaid, Emily. Kailey asked Clark his name, and when he asked hers, she told him to “guess.” Against all odds, he nailed it on the first try, and the rest is history. Since then, their life together has been equal parts adventure and laughter. On one of their first dates, they raced back to a Morgantown restaurant to find Kailey’s forgotten phone. That laughter-filled moment was just the start of how they navigate life together, making even the most chaotic adventures fun. They later rescued another phone left behind in Paris (yes, a whole train ride away). Whether it’s a big trip abroad or a quick weekend getaway they love exploring together. Over the years, Kailey and Clark have become not just partners but best friends. They find joy in the little things like going for walks, spending time with loved ones, or listening to music while cooking dinner. Life is simply better when they’re together. After five years, Kailey and Clark got engaged in March 2025 at Phipps Conservatory, surrounded by their parents who got to witness this special moment. What started as a lucky guess has grown into the best decision either of them has ever made.
