A small museum with just a few exhibits, located right next to the Nelson-Atkins. There's a cute little café, too.

One of our favorite spots in Westport. Char Bar's barbeque and dog-friendly beer garden is a staple.

West Bottoms
In the 1900s, the West Bottoms was industrial. Now, its old high-rise buildings have been converted into art galleries, thrift stores, and eclectic small businesses. On sunny weekends, you can usually expect to see live music and food trucks. We especially love West Bottoms Plant Co. (1501 W 12th St), which is filled with art and goods from local KC makers, as well as LOTS of plants.
River Market Antiques
Three floors of thrifted antiques and clothing.
City Market
Located in KC’s historic River Market, this farmers’ market is the largest in the region. It's within walking distance of our venue and most of the recommended hotels.
Clothz Minded
A favorite locally owned secondhand boutique in Westport.
Starlight Theatre
There's nothing showing during our wedding weekend, but we'd be remiss not to feature Starlight on our list of favorites. We love this 1950s outdoor theater and the inclusive organization that supports it.
