Thank you to our photographer, Kelsey Atwood, for capturing us in a few of our favorite Kansas City spots.

We walked to Hyde Park after our first date at Mother Earth Coffee.

When you know, you know. After six months of dating, we took the plunge and bought a 113-year-old house together.

Now we live in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood and visit these leafy views on a weekly basis.

Our third date was spent on the lawn of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. We love going there on sunny days with snacks and a picnic blanket.

For the proposal, Joel arranged a scavenger hunt through New York City that ended in Kayla's old neighborhood, Bay Ridge, at the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.

Joel pulled it off with help from Kayla's close friend Taylor Genrich (thanks, Tay!).
