Central Market York is 125 years old! It’s only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 7-2. We go here as often as we can whether it’s to get breakfast or lunch, buy a birthday gift for someone, grab a coffee, or just to people watch. It’s a must if you have the time to go!
Molly’s is the cutest little coffee shop in downtown. Not only can you get your caffeine fix there, you can also purchase local art such as jewelry, prints, plants, and more! It has the cutest courtyard in the back (but it might be too cold for that come December). If you go, Clarissa’s favorite drink is a Salted Coconut Caramel Tea Latte!
This is our favorite spot in York. We actually joke that something’s wrong if we don’t go there at least once a week. Holy Hound has a great selection of food and beer. This is the place you want to go to if you’re looking to be where the locals are. Clarissa recommends the Disco Fries - they’re her favorite.
Collusion is not only our favorite brewery in the area but maybe our favorite brewery ever! They have a vast variety of beer to choose from and their food is amazing. As far as beer recommendations go, Vince recommends Fuzzy Scrumpit and Clarissa recommends Soft & Cuddly. Collusion is located directly behind our wedding venue which is located in the Royal Square District. There are murals every direction you turn so it’s great for a photo op.
If you’re into thrifting, you should definitely check out m.elene’s! She has two floors full of vintage clothing, decor, knick-knacks, accessories, records, and more! Each time we go, Clarissa makes a purchase for either herself or someone else.
