Driving from Portland to Camp Sherman Camp Sherman is a three-hour drive away from the Portland metro area through the beautiful Cascade Mountain range. Take the highway 20 mountain pass out of Salem for the most direct route and views of majestic Mt. Washington. If you’re up for a slightly longer trek, venture out of Portland on the highway 26 mountain pass to explore Mt. Hood then cruise into the high desert through Warm Springs, Madras, and Redmond.

All of the ‘Creekside’ and ‘Lodge’ cabins are held as part of our wedding reservation. Take a look through the website and the campus map to decide which cabin you’d like. We'd appreciate it if each party / family fills out this google form to help us with cabin assignments. Camp Sherman (1.5 miles) There are a handful of resorts, RV parks, and camp sites just down the road in the small outpost town of Camp Sherman. Each has reasonable priced accommodations that are a very beautiful, rustic forest setting, similar to the venue. This option is best if you want a quieter stay, and don't mind driving a bit to get to the events (only about 1-2 miles down the road).We recommend checking out "Metolius River Lodges". Sisters (17 miles) A lovely, quaint western town nestled just below three large volcanoes known as the ‘Three Sisters.’ Clarissa’s parents, Bob and Terry, have lived here for several years and we’ve had the pleasure of enjoying all the town has to offer. Stop by Fika for a strong morning coffee and a pastry (Sisters coffee always has long lines). Belly up at the Sisters Saloon for a cold beer and a burger to watch what was formerly known as ‘PAC-12 football.’

Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM)

Bend doesn’t have an airport, but there is a small regional airport in Redmond that will bring you within 45 minutes of the wedding venue. Guests can rent cars from this airport or request for a pick-up by contacting the bride or groom (depending on arrival time).

Portland International Airport (PDX)

This is the largest nearby airport and will likely have the best prices. The venue is about a 3-hour drive from the airport, so ensure your arrival and departure time is generously before or after the weekend's events. Rental cars or arranged car-pooling will be required for the weekend (talk to Hayden or Clarissa if you want help with this!)
