CUN - Cancun International Airport

Shopping around for flights on Google Flights is very easy! Since we're about 2 months away from the wedding you have time to track flights to find the best price. Use the tracker function (to the bottom left of the flight search) on Google Flights. When you see that a price has dropped you will get an email notification so you can pounce on the lowest flight price.

ROUNDTRIP TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT TO GRAND VELAS

I'm still trying to work through this but with everyone coming in at different times/days I might just send everyone a few transportation options and have them book directly with the company. The rates I'm seeing are anywhere from $70-$110 for round trip transportation (for a private car for two people). From Cancun International Airport to Grand Velas it is a 31 mile/50 km drive, so about 38 minutes (via Google Maps).

The resort has three unique experiences (areas). Zen, Ambassador, and Grand Class Zen - Set back in a tropical jungle ***NOTE - You cannot walk from Zen to the beach, Ambassador, and Grand Class areas. They have air conditioned shuttles running every few minutes*** There is a full sized pool, multiple restaurants, multiple bars, and spa in this area. Ambassador - All Ambassador rooms have an Ocean view. It is situated around the main swimming pool/swim up bar. There are two options of rooms: with or without plunge pool. We had the plunge pool room when we visited. Although it was larger than the standard ocean view rooms, we did not use the pool more than once. We used it right when we got there just because we were so hot from traveling all day (the pool is not heated). Grand Class - This section of the resort only has one type of room, which includes a plunge pool and they are all ocean front. Grand Class is adults only, including the pool and swim up bar.
