If you fly into Reno-Tahoe and rent a car the drive to Meeks Bay is about 60-80 minutes. Plus you can stop in Kings Beach and/or Truckee on your way!

If you fly into Sacramento and rent a car the drive to Meeks Bay is about 2-2.5 hours. This starting point could allow you to drive though/explore South Lake Tahoe on your way to the wedding site.

Meeks Bay Resort

We have the entire Meeks Bay Resort reserved from Friday May 15th to Sunday May 17th 2020. This will be the site of all Saturday activities (ceremony and reception). The resort is our playground for the weekend! Follow the link to explore the various options for lodging at Meeks Bay Resort. There are also a lot of great options for rental houses/cabins very close to Meeks Bay Resort. We recommend looking for Airbnbs/Vrbos in Tahoma, Homewood or near Chamber's Landing. These small spots are connected to Meeks Bay via a fairly flat/wide road (not as narrow and circuitous), which will be safer if traveling at night or during snowy times.
