Things To Do

We think Lake Tahoe is one of the most beautiful places around - and we want you to enjoy it too! Meeks Bay is sandwiched between two gorgeous national parks, linked with an extensive trail system. It's a short drive from Truckee and Tahoe City which both have shops, restaurants, and breweries to explore. Weather permitting, you can bike and hike around all damn day on the west shore.

Sugar Pine Point State Park

7360 West, Tahoma, CA 96142
, (530) 525-7982

30-minutes walk from Meeks Bay Resort

D L Bliss State Park

9881 California 89, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
, (530) 525-7277

5-7 minute drive south from Meeks Bay Resort. We reccommend parking at the DL Bliss State Beach and then hiking the Rubicon Trail to Emerald Bay and back.

The Pioneer Cocktail Club

521 North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City, CA 96145
, (530) 523-0402

Yummy tapas-style grub, tasty cocktails.
