Claire's grandparents & Wedding Hosts

When they bought this property twenty five years ago, John and Povy envisioned their granddaughters' weddings here. These are the nicest most gracious and hospitable people you will meet. And yes, they are legitimate cowboy and cowgirl! Thank you Nona and Papa for hosting!

Just like their picture, Amy and Jim welcome you with big smiles and hugs! They live in Albuquerque and have lots of stories about watching ski competitions, fly fishing and camping. If you see a quilt on display at the reception, it was made by Amy.

Coming in all the way from Orillia, Ontario, Virginia and Paul are no strangers to New Mexico! Long before Claire and Spencer ever met, they made MANY trips to New Mexico to visit friends. It wasn't hard to convince them to make another trek for the wedding. We are so happy they are here!

Hailing from Santa Fe, NM, John and Dot can claim responsibility for Claire's love of her home town, Santa Fe. John, grew up in Las Cruces and attended New Mexico State University, so this wedding is a return to his home town.

Joey is Claire's older brother. Chase him down for some epic stories, he's done everything from big mountain skiing to Alaska guiding and scuba diving. Watch out for him on the dance floor!

Emily is Claire's cousin. The girls were born 3 weeks apart and their mothers are identical twins! So, really, that makes them twin cousins, right? Emily was married at the farm just East of Bigbee Farm exactly one year before Claire.
