Lindsey and Claire first met in 3rd grade over a bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos. Since then, they've gone to the same middle school, high school, university, medical school, and eventual medical specialty of radiology. They’re honestly not trying to follow each other like stalkers but that’s just how it has all worked out. They've seen it all together and have been separated in more classrooms than they can count for disruptive behavior.
Sam Deisz
Best Man
Mac and Sam's close bond, forged in the womb, continues today, stronger than ever. Growing up alongside one another, Mac and Sam enjoyed the finer things in life: playing with legos, consuming vast quantities of cartoons, and occasionally decimating each other in backyard football. Despite the miles between them in college and at present, Mac and Sam remain incredibly close. Mac has always admired Sam's intelligence, determination, and calm and collected manner. A great brother and fantastic person, Mac is honored to have Sam as his best man.
Jillian O'Toole

Claire and Jillian first met in Peru where they saved the small woody stems together in the Amazon Rainforest. In the process of this, Claire fell into a hole filled with bats and Jill got hit in the head by a coconut. Since then, they've traveled all over the US together, gone skydiving, and shared many nights over FaceTime. They're ultimate adventure buddies and always come up with the craziest ideas together.
James Carmichael

Their paths crossed in the unlikeliest of places: high school Spanish class. Since then, Mac and James have formed an extremely strong friendship, forged over weekly trips in high school to Eagan's finest dining establishment, El Loro. From their days living together in the dorms as freshmen at the University of Minnesota to travels around the country, Mac and James have made plenty of memories together. While James currently resides in Chicago, he and Mac still speak regularly and make time to visit each other whenever possible. Their bond will be further strengthened when they run a tough mudder together in June (if they make it out alive).
Taylor Furrh

Claire and Taylor met their first day in Peru when they were introduced as roommates. They immediately were intimidated by each other, but overcame their INTJ personalities to become incredibly close. Since then, they've explored Colorado, Minnesota, Hawaii, and Oregon together with so many funny memories made. Please try to find Taylor on the dance floor when No Hands by Waka Flocka Flame comes on.
Jake Galarneau

Although Jake is a fellow Wildcat (Eagan High School alumni), Mac and Jake didn't truly begin their friendship until college. Having joined the same fraternity and finding out they lived in the same dorm, some say Jake and Mac's friendship was inevitable. Jake and Mac enjoy running together, hitting the sauna, and getting outdoors whenever possible.
Laura Thomas

Laura is Claire's childhood nemesis turned current-day backpacking partner. Laura is the only person who has laid hands on Claire and gotten away with it. Today, they've forged an unlikely alliance that some would call a friendship. They have survived leeches, mosquito swamps, and close fiery explosions together.
Matt Gustafson

Matt and Mac's friendship dates back to high school. They've remained close ever since, both attending the University of Minnesota. Matt and Mac's adventures have spanned from Minneapolis to Madison to Munich Germany. Matt's sourdough baking skills have impressed Mac enough that he took up the hobby himself recently!
Kathryn Thomas

Kathryn fell on the sword of being the perfect first-born, which paved the way for Claire's eventual path of destruction as the 4th child. Claire tried to copy everything Kathryn did and it worked well enough that following 75% of the same path was enough to be successful too. Claire and Kathryn share the same passions for Mexican food, cats, Taylor Swift, tiki bars, women's health, and vegetarian food.
Evan Thomas

As the older brother of Claire, all roads lead through Evan on this path to love. Fortunately, there are few people out there who are more caring than Evan. His kind, intelligent, and humorous personality makes him a fantastic person to have around. Mac and Evan have formed a close friendship, and Mac is honored to have Evan by his side, and in his life.
Josie Seela

Josie and Claire first met during orientation week of medical school when they figured out that they lived across the street from each other (and Claire figured out Josie had a hot tub and was also a celebrity). They saw kindred spirits in each other and since then they've been living life to the fullest with each other while making their way through school. Josie has taught Claire how to make killer cocktails, survive Minnesotan winters, and become a more insightful person while Claire has equally repaid her by teaching her Fortnite and harassing her on a regular basis.
Glenn Seela

Mac was fortunate enough to meet Glenn in 2021. Glenn is in the same medical school class as Claire. Since meeting 3 years ago, Glenn and Mac have become close friends. Whether watching football, grabbing a beer at the bar down the road, or trying new restaurants, Glenn and Mac are always finding new things to do.
Jessica Erdmann

Jess and Claire met through soccer when they were in middle school. Jess physically dominated the field and dominated Claire out of possession most of the time. They’ve always had each other throughout the years and never miss up an opportunity to bake horrific Pinterest creations, roast each other, and explore all that Rochester and Kasson have to offer.
Rishab Hanjagimutt

Mac and Rishab's paths first crossed in 2016 at the University of Minnesota. Since then, they've become close friends. Mac and Rishab lived together after graduating and bonded over their love of movies and cooking.
