One of the many things that Claire and Mac have in common is their love of travel. Their first trip together took them to snowy Colorado, where they hit the slopes in style, snowshoed, and even hiked with goats! Since then, their travels have taken them across the country and across the world. When traveling, Mac and Claire always try to seek out some adventure to go alongside their travel relaxation. From skydiving over the Utah desert, to scuba diving in the Gulf of Mexico, to riding a Vespa down the Amalfi coast, Mac and Claire have found there's always an adventure to be had on vacation.

For the majority of their relationship, Mac and Claire have been attending law school and medical school, respectively. Early in their time together, Mac and Claire recall preparing for the entry exams in Claire's studio apartment in St. Paul (much of those studies involved Mac getting bored and attempting to distract Claire). Mac and Claire were thrilled to both find fantastic schools in Minnesota and were fortunate enough to begin school in the same year. Despite their busy schedules and the rigorous requirements of professional school, Mac and Claire continue to fill their spare time with fun activities together, such as rock climbing, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
