Our first date was in NYC around the corner from Claire's apartment. We immediately felt a connection, and never looked back! That winter was the start of many long-lasting traditions.

When we first started dating in winter of 2017, Dan took Claire to Salmon River Falls, and it’s always been a very special place to both of us. Dan had the “idea” to go hiking there the morning of June 2, and Claire didn’t have the slightest clue what was up his sleeves (or in his pocket!). We went on the trail we hadn’t explored before, but had both wanted to see that led to the bottom of the falls. Since we hadn’t used the GoPro in a while, Claire didn’t think anything of it when Dan wanted to set it up for a nice picture/video. We went to stand over in the rocks, and Dan asked Claire if she remember what she said to him when they first went there - that she felt he was “the one.” After a few more words, Dan said he had a question to ask, and got down on his knee. The rest is history!

We were really excited to find this venue. It is a perfect combination of quintessential California with a ranch feel. The ranch has a mixture of avocado trees, lemon trees, and blueberry bushes. It's also close to where Claire used to always go for club soccer practice. We can't wait to share it with you!
