Travel Note
The venue is accessible by bus from Dublin. Or if you are planning on doing some more exploring while you are in the country, renting a car could be an idea. We have made an interactive map that displays the bus route from Dublin, the venue and nearby hotels (information for which can also be found on this page). Click 'VIEW' below to access the map.
Flight
Ireland's finest airline, Ryanair, has flights from East Midlands airport, Birmingham airport and London's airports to Dublin. Other less reputable carriers (including British Airways and Aer Lingus) also fly to Dublin.
Train
Imagine a train without rails. A carriage free from the unwavering inevitability of twin steel tracks. The potential! Well, you can stop your imagining, because you've just imagined a bus. (There was no bus option on the Zola templates) Route 30 / 30x Dublin Busáras Station – Dublin Airport – Virginia. Then goes on to stop at Cavan town centre. The 30 runs every 90 minutes, and the journey to Virginia takes around 90 minutes from Dublin city centre and 55 minutes from Dublin airport. From Dublin airport the bus goes from Zone 10 in the 'atrium', which is on the other side of the car park opposite Terminal 1. If you're staying at Cavan town this is another 30 minutes from the Virginia stop. Route 109x Every hour from Dublin city centre, but this route doesn't call at Dublin airport. The journey stops a bit more so takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes to Virginia, and 2 hours and 10 minutes to Cavan. It also stops opposite the Kilmore and Cavan Crystal hotels in Cavan.
Rental Car
Could be a good option if you want to explore more of Ireland while you are over. Offered by the usual suspects at the airport or Dublin city centre. The rates seem quite reasonable.
