What time does it kick off?

We plan to have the ceremony at 1.45pm. Guests will be seated for dinner at approximately 5pm.

Unfortunately we can only accommodate children of close family. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off!

When can I check in and out of Virginia Park Lodge?

Answer

On Friday the 15th guests can check in from 3pm. On Saturday 16th guests can check in at 11am. Check out is at 11am.

What's happening before and after?

Answer

Claire and Marc will be at Virginia Park Lodge the evening before the big day having dinner with the wedding party. For those staying or staying locally, the lodge won't be serving food (see below) but the bar will be open! On the day after, Claire and Marc have booked space at the Stag's Head pub in Temple Bar, Dublin from 2pm, for those that want to nurse any sore heads and have some food. There is a 30 bus that leaves Virginia Main Street at 11.05 and gets into Dublin city centre at 12.30, and an X30 that leaves Virginia at 12.10 and gets to Dublin city centre at 13.35.

No, the lodge will not be serving food on Friday.

Ok... so where can I eat in Virginia?

Answer

There are a few places to get food in the town. In the daytime, Willow's Cafe and the Mason's Apron are open to 6pm. For dinner, the Riverfront pub (walking distance from the lodge) does bar food, and St Kyrans hotel does a fancier meal. There is also a large Supervalue supermarket in the town.

What about taxis on the evening of the wedding?

The venue recommends you pre-book a taxi in advance. They will have taxi numbers displayed at the bar.
