OUR STORY
Started the way many do, completely unintentional. I was home on Long Island for two months before leaving to go to graduate school in Connecticut. Fresh out of a break up, I met Alexis and realized if I didn't make the most of my time with him, I would regret it for the rest of my life. We both quickly realized that we were the missing piece each other needed. We had grown up our entire lives only 15 minutes away from each other and yet it took nearly 27 years for our paths to cross. During the first few weeks of knowing Alexis, I had sent a text message that said "When I think about the type of person I want to spend the rest of my life with, I think of someone who is unafraid to let me follow my dreams and will be there to cheer me on and say 'That's my wife!', to which he responded 'You are describing me',".
A summer romance turned into a move to Connecticut, a cat named Edie, endless chisme, and a whole lot of love.
