Train
This is the cheapest, most scenic way to get to Sorrento (ideal if you don't feel like dealing with Italian drivers). There are two train options: The Circumvesuviana Train leaves Naples central train station (Napoli Centrale) every 30 minutes and travels the coast along the Bay of Naples, stopping at all the towns along the way and arriving at its last stop in Sorrento. Travel time is approximately 1h15 (give or take - all schedules in the South are subject to espresso-break related delays) and costs about 6€. The Campania Express train also leaves from Napoli Centrale. It has fewer stops and gets to Sorrento in about 30 minutes, costing approximately 15€.
