The bride's sister who lives in Alabama, USA. They grew up real close. The bride - even though 3 years younger - found herself always having a bit more coins than her sister and was the one buying snacks and treats for her. During their teenage years - in the absence of mobile phones - boys would call Jen regularly on the landline and the bride would pretend to be her just to get a kick out of it. Now even if they live far from each other, the sissies still heart each other very much.

Kaatje is like a second mom to the bride, and is the 'omi' of her darling son Lovro. Born and bred in Brugge. She loves Singapore chili crab but cries while eating it.

Georges is like a second dad to the bride and the opa of the precious little boy Lovro. A man of the sea, 'paps' commandeered the boat that sailed in Greenland in the expedition where the groom and bride met.

Siony has raised the bride to be independent and resilient. She encouraged her to pursue her dreams, even if it meant being away from home. 'Momsy' frequented Singapore to visit her youngest grandson especially when the bride has to be away for a business trip. Unfortunately momsy will not be able to attend the wedding party in Belgium.
