Flying into Missoula will give you the closest drive time (1 hour 10 minutes) and most flight options, though Bozeman (2 hours 20 minutes) or Butte (1 hour 3 minutes) are also viable options with car rentals.
Lodging:
Philipsburg has two hotels- The Broadway Hotel & The Kaiser House Hotel
AirBnB and VRBO have multiple rentals available- be sure to look at a map to see where your rental is- some of the "Philipsburg" rentals are a bit of a drive from the town itself.
There is camping in the area for those looking for an immersive Montana experience.
