In a tale as old as time, we were brought together by the infamous World Wide Web, where Jackson’s proclaimed love of volleyball confused Cicily just as much as we’re sure it’s confusing anyone reading this. We had both recently moved to Missoula for new jobs and in the following months, we fell in love with the town, its activities, its people, and of course, each other. Jackson had to test out Cicily’s canoe paddling abilities (they’re superb) and she needed to make sure he didn’t make her wait too long at the chair lift (he sometimes even has to wait for her). After realizing that we would match each other’s enthusiasm and capacity for our many hobbies, it became apparent that our future adventures would always be with each other’s company. When planning this wedding, we wanted to pick a location that we love and could share with all of our family and friends from near and afar. Philipsburg holds a special place in our hearts as it’s a frequent summer stop on the way to Cicily’s family cabin, a great location for an après-ski bev on the way home from a powder day, and a beautiful little town nestled in familiar mountains. We’re excited to share one of our favorite places with our favorite people!
