We are getting married in Italy and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

La Dolce Vita means ‘the sweet life’ in Italian. We experience it by embracing the pleasures of life whether it’s food, landscapes, architecture, culture, meeting new people, and sharing special moments with loved ones. We look forward to indulging in La Dolce Vita with you in Italy!

Jenn and Matt met at a local bar in their hometown in Pennsylvania. That night, Matt saw Jenn and instantly recognized her; he previously followed her social media and was enamored by her world travels. Matt approached Jenn and the two hit it off right away, trading travel stories throughout night. Jenn recalls Matt wearing a Patagonia vest that night. Ironically, she returned from the Patagonia just days before where she hiked the exact mountain on his vest. Was it fate, a coincidence or maybe careful outfit selection by Matt in hopes of an easy ice breaker? Matt shared that from the day he first met Jenn, he knew they would fall in love.

A year and a half later, Matt randomly asked Jenn for brunch recommendations in New York City. While Matt didn’t actually need recommendations, he wanted an excuse to reach out to Jenn and ask her on a date. Their first date was in New York City where Matt drove two hours from home to take Jenn out. The pair went to Charlie Bird for an Italian dinner, followed by a night cap at The Penrose, and a late night Justin Bieber x Dua Lipa ‘tiny desk concert’.

Matt felt an instant connection and knew he had to see Jenn again. He drove to New York five days later to take Jenn on a second date - pizza and cocktails at Uva Next Door. The two had a great second date but Jenn was spending the rest of the summer in the Hamptons which was over four hours away from Matt’s home. Don’t worry though, Matt was ALL IN and was not going to let distance get in the way! He made several road trips that summer to the Hamptons where their relationship blossomed.

Matt nervously asked Jenn to be his girlfriend at the Gurney’s Resort in Montauk, New York next to a cozy fire pit with ocean views. Jenn said yes, without hesitation, and thought Matt’s nerves were endearing. She couldn’t be happier to call Matt her boyfriend.

The couple split time between New York and Pennsylvania while mixing in ‘jett-cations’. Jett-cation (v) - Jenn and Matt vacationing. The vacation typically involves food (lots of food), endless pics, the occasional PDA, and living their best life together. During their first ‘jett-cation’ in October 2021, the pair traveled to California where they road tripped up the Pacific Coast Highway. The couple shared their first ‘I love yous’ on a winery in Napa Valley. Following that trip, Jenn and Matt took their love international by traveling to Mexico, England, Greece, Ireland, and Italy together.

Matt proposed to Jenn in the beautiful Amalfi Coast on a balcony overlooking the ocean. Matt proposed with a book of love notes he had handwritten to Jenn in Italian with an English translation on the bottom of each page. On the last page, Matt asked Jenn to marry him in Italian without the English translation. When Jenn turned to Matt to ask what it meant, Matt was on one knee with a stunning ring in hand. The couple spent the rest of their romantic Italian vacation like honeymooners in pure bliss. Their vacation ended in the picturesque Lake Como where the pair stayed at the stunning Grand Hotel Tremezzo. They had such an incredible stay that they promised they’d return again.

Jenn and Matt are returning to Lake Como to host their intimate wedding! They can’t wait to share their special day with loved ones in Italy and experience La Dolce Vita.
