FAQs

Question

Are you still sure you'll be able to have the wedding with COVID-19 still going on?

Answer

Yes! Fingers crossed that things are back to mostly normal by the end of September.

Question

Will it be safe with COVID-19 and what precautions are being taken?

Answer

We are confident the wedding will be very safe. If you're comfortable sharing, please let us know within your RSVP if you are vaccinated now or plan to be vaccinated ahead of September. We believe the majority of our guests will be fully vaccinated by that time. In addition, weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside. The reception will be inside with indoor / outdoor sections. We will have hand sanitizer present, and encourage anyone who feels more comfortable wearing a mask to do so.

Question

Did you have to downsize because of COVID-19?

Answer

Unfortunately yes. We had to cut over 60 people from our original guest list. While we wish we could still have invited everyone, that is unfortunately no longer the case. We would have loved to have everyone celebrate with us if circumstances were different, but are now unable to due to COVID-19 and additional wedding reschedule costs.

Question

Are my children invited?

Answer

Since we have a strict venue capacity, we unfortunately could not invite everyone. To check if your children were invited, check who your invitation envelope was addressed to. If your envelope was addressed to your "family" then yes, please bring the whole fam! But, if it was addressed to just you as an individual or just you and your significant other as a couple, then that's only who is invited.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Since we have a strict venue capacity, we unfortunately cannot invite everyone. If you were allotted a date, the invitation envelope was addressed to them as well.

Question

Do we have to fly there?

Answer

Probably - Seaside is in the panhandle of Florida, right over the Alabama border, so it's relatively easy to drive to if you're not keen on flying. It's about 14.5 hours from Cleveland and Chicago, 11 hours from Indianapolis, and 18 hours from NYC.

Question

Why did the RSVP tab not ask for a meal selection?

Answer

We will be doing a variety of stations instead of plated dinners for the reception. We will have options to satisfy all dietary restrictions!

Question

What will the weather be like in Seaside in September?

Answer

Historically around this time in the area, the high will be around 87 degrees and the low around 72 degrees.

Question

I've booked my lodging for the weekend, now what?

Answer

Please let the bride know via email, katieciabotti@gmail.com, the address of the home or hotel you will be staying in.
