Colleen and Christy go way back to high school. Colleen is the kind of person who’ll rescue a stray, rally for a cause, and still show up early for work the next morning. Passionate about social justice and deeply devoted to her people (and pets!), Colleen brings heart and grit to everything she does.

If Mother Nature had a hype squad, Emily would be leading it. She’s devoted to making the world a better place. Fiercely loyal, endlessly creative, and always ready with a pep talk or a power tool, Emily’s the kind of friend who always shows up.
Lauren Somloi

If you ever need a nurse with the world’s biggest heart, a last‑minute concert buddy, or someone who can plan a trip to the moon before lunch, Lauren’s your girl. Oldest‑child energy runs deep with this one. She’s prepared for every possible emergency and will absolutely have snacks, Band‑Aids, and a backup plan for the backup plan. Lauren’s the easiest person on earth to talk to and a walking ray of positivity. Basically, if this wedding had a safety net and a sunshine generator, it would be her.
Aiden McHugh
Best Man
Aiden and Scott grew up right down the street from each other in Waynewood. One of Scott's OG's, Aiden has been with him for many of his earliest childhood stories. Now that they've both moved back to DC, Aiden has been added as a core member to Scott and Christy's "Google It in the Bathroom" trivia team that regularly performs sub-par or better! In Aiden's free time, he goes 1v1 against Hal in Super Smash Bros on Nintendo 64. Ask Aiden about throwing Yoshi's eggs, and watch his smile light up the room!
Bryan Hill
Best Man
Bryan and Scott met on the mean streets (actually very friendly basketball courts) of Morgantown, WV while attending WVU. Enamored by Bryan's magical hook shot, Scott and Bryan were originally friendly rivals, but ultimately decided to team up to become an unstoppable pickup duo (who realistically probably only won 50% of their games together, but that's really not their fault it was definitely other bad teammates). After college, Bryan and Scott stayed in touch often, and Bryan almost recruited Scott to move to Charlotte, NC but failed miserably when he discovered that Scott wanted to move back to Alexandria, VA. Ask Bryan about anything dental related, but please wait until about half after 2pm for the best intro.
Hal Vernon
Groomsman
As Scott’s older brother, Hal's been there since the beginning when Scott watched over his shoulder while Hal played Playstation. Outside of the videogame world, Hal often added fun and sarcastic commentary to just about any conversation, and the frequent Washington sports hot take (it's historically been tough being a Wizards/Commanders fan). Whether he's cheering on his favorite DC teams or chilling with a cold drink by the beach, Hal brings laid-back energy and chill vibes wherever he goes. In Hal's free time, he often dominates Aiden in Super Smash Bros. Ask Hal about Samus' charge up shot and he'll tell you about the fear he sees in Aiden's eyes!
Dan Petkoff
Groomsman
Dan and Scott also grew up in Waynewood together, and played basketball and pickup football together in the early days at Waynewood pool. Dan has always been the voice of reason in the childhood friend group, asserting a very legal style of debate for as long as can be remembered (he always talked about "joining the family business", his parents are also lawyers). Luckily, Scott has never had to retain Dan's legal services, but appreciates that he always has that card in his back pocket.
Donovan Bregg
Groomsman
Donovan and Scott met through mutual friends in Morgantown, WV and became fast friends while enjoying all the entertainment that WVU had to offer. Donovan is a jack of all trades, but a CRNA by pay. He is currently evolving into "farmer Donovan", who now owns lambs + chickens + goats + pigs on his property. He maintains his childhood sports roots by rooting for the same team as Christy, the Philadelphia Eagles (disgusting, ew) and, unfortunately, WVU football as well (not ew, just sad). Ask Donovan for a bag of carrots when you meet him, he always has extra from his yield for some reason.
John Dorchinez

John and Scott also met on the mean basketball courts of Morgantown, WV while attending WVU. John originally fooled Scott by claiming to be Hawaiian, and because of his ruggedly handsome good looks, Scott was none the wiser. It wasn't until about 2-3 years into their friendship that Scott discovered that John was not truly from the Hawaiian islands, and, incredibly, their bond grew even stronger after the discovery of this gruesome lie. John and Scott have attended countless WVU football and basketball games together, and John is always an incredible host when Scott is able to make it back to Morgantown for a trip. Ask John to show you his jab step and you'll almost certainly fall over from his twinkle toes.
