George Washington's estate is about a 15-20 minute drive south of Old Town, but if you find the time to visit - it is worth the visit! This was George Washington's estate, furnished with period pieces & the president's own belongings.
This market is located in center of Old Town at City Hall. It's open year-round, every Saturday morning from 7am - 12pm. Fun fact, this market is the oldest farmers' market in the country held continuously at the same site (since 1753)!
The Torpedo Factory is a public venue that is open until 6pm on Friday, and 5pm on Saturday. It has a collection of artists showcasing & selling paintings, photos & other pieces in a former factory. There are also free city exhibits on the upper floors, that cover historical and geographical of the area.
