Question

What is the weather like in this area in September?

Answer

It's going to probably be warm. The temperatures should be dropping from the summer heat by then so it shouldn't be miserable. The historical average temperature is around 72 degrees with a high of 83 and a low of 62. Tennessee is a humid state. So just be aware that the highs and lows tend to feel a little more noticeable here. We suggest bringing jackets and rain gear just in case. September isn't typically a heavy rainfall month. But we do get some fall storms. We have a saying in Tennessee, if you don't like the weather, stick around for a few hours. It likes to switch things up on us at a moments notice. So the more prepared you are for different types of weather the better!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! We did mention in the RSVP section that our invite list is a little longer than expected. So if you would like a night away from the kids, this would greatly help us in culling down our guest list! But if not, we should have enough space in your RSVP section to include your kids. If we left anyone out just reach out.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, but again, we would like to point out, if you know people who are coming and you won't be alone and you can keep from bringing extra people that would really help us in getting our guest list to a more manageable number as well. We would really appreciate it! We believe we added plus ones to the RSVP sections for the invitees that we felt might want to bring someone. Again, if we missed giving you a plus one and you would like to bring someone please reach out.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held in the same area. We will have parking available at the venue! It should be clearly marked. It's the gravel lot at the top of the property with signage. We want everyone to have a good time. There will be alcohol provided and we just ask that you plan accordingly by assigning a designated driver or another great option is to take an UBER or LYFT. We want all our friends and family to get home safely.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We would love to continue the party downtown after the reception. We will be looking into a good space for everyone to meet up afterwards. This will be updated closer to the wedding day.
