Glacier Park International Airport (GPIA) is the closest airport to Glacier and is located in Kalispell, MT. About a 2-hour drive to the East Glacier/St. Mary area. Also very convenient if you decide to stay on the West Side of the park. Airlines that fly into GPIA include Alaska, Allegiant, United, Delta, Sun Country, Avelo, and American Airlines. We recommend renting a car, since the park is pretty spread out and public transit is minimal. The GPIA website has a list of rental car companies both on and off airport property.
Flight
Great Falls International Airport (GTF) is a close airport if you decide to stay on the East Side of Glacier. It's about a 2.5-hour drive to East Glacier, but unlike the route from Kalispell, it doesn’t involve any mountain driving, making it a more straightforward and flatter trip. Airlines that fly into GTF include Alaska, Allegiant, Delta, and United. We recommend renting a car, since the park is pretty spread out and public transit is minimal.

Hotel
Another accommodation option with a bunch of choices depending on your traveling style. They’ve got everything from cozy cabins to more traditional hotel rooms.
Travel Note
Note: We’ll be on the East side of Glacier, which is beautiful but very rural. If you can’t find availability at St. Mary Lodge or the KOA, check Airbnb or VRBO for nearby cabins or guesthouses. Just know that some options might be a bit of a drive from the park entrance. You can also look on the West side of the park (West Glacier, Kalispell, Columbia Falls), which has more infrastructure and lodging, then drive over the Going-to-the-Sun Road on the day of the ceremony. It will be about a 2-hr drive, through the mountains, to the East side of the park. Be sure to check out if a vehicle registration is needed if you do go this route. Some other options: Duck Lake Lodge, Park Cabin Co
Travel Note
Similar to Kalispell, another option is to fly into and stay in Great Falls, Montana (airport code: GTF). It offers similar infrastructure and more accommodation options than the East Side of Glacier. The drive to the wedding location is about 2.5 hours, but unlike the route from Kalispell, it doesn’t involve any mountain driving, making it a more straightforward and flatter trip.
