Ferry to Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge Island can be accessed by taking a 35 minute ferry ride from the downtown Seattle Ferry Terminal. We highly encourage you to arrive to the ferry 30 minutes early if you plan on driving a car onto the ferry. Ferries sail every 50-60 minutes. Make sure you plan accordingly if you are leaving Bainbridge after the reception as the ferry does stop running at 12:55am. Pleasant Beach Village is about 4 miles from the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal. Pro Tip: Grab a craft beer from the galley and walk around the upper deck to take in our beautiful Puget Sound.

Taxi (Bainbridge Island)

Need a lift? There are two taxi services on Bainbridge Island and cabs are usually waiting in the ferry terminal parking lot to greet each boat. Bi-Ride Bus Service (Bainbridge Island)

Kitsap Transit operates BI-RIDE, a shared-ride service operating Tuesday – Saturday on Bainbridge Island by rider request and at scheduled stops. Pleasant Beach Village (Lynwood Center) is a scheduled stop. Fare is $2.00, cash or ORCA card. To catch the bus somewhere other than at a scheduled stop, call at least two hours in advance. Uber and Lyft are very limited on Bainbridge. Call 1-844-4BI-RIDE for more information or to schedule a ride.

Train

Light Rail (Seattle)

Our lovely mono-rail is helpful if you are going to very specific parts of Seattle. You can take the Light Rail from SeaTac directly to the Seattle Ferry Terminal by getting off at the University Street stop.
